Infantry Evolved
By Military Police | March 8, 2010
Infantry Evolved seems like a fitting title as the third installment in our news series with Continuity and Reloaded, heh. I’d like to announce news that players have been keenly awaiting. Satori and I have been pushing for this for quite some time and we’re now expecting the implementation of the patch very soon. It’ll be great to have games characterized by equal competition again and no hacker crashes. I’d like to thank Jeff Petersen for taking time out of his schedule to work on this patch. I’m not sure if you’ll see him in the game at all, but if you do, please extend to him the appreciation that he deserves. Thanks to the community for being patient.

A few weeks ago I was on google typing in Jeff Peterson, hoping to e-mail him and tell him how badly Infantry needs a patch.
JeffP is a godly figure

“…and we’re now expecting the implementation of the patch very soon.”
Since this is SOE and you used the word “soon” does that mean 3 years or 5 years?

LOL nanx i do have to agree with your speculation, ’soon’ is a little suspicious, im hoping the idea behind soon isnt necessarily how much time until its released, but how much stuff has to be finished before its released, its just a matter of ‘when’ they will have the time to complete it

Thanks for the update MP. Looking forward to the new patch.

Jeff is hoping to get it in this week. So that’s how we’re defining “soon” here. Of course, that would be delayed if he encounters any bugs, but we’ll see.

Were any of the patch suggestions from the suggestions thread implemented? Or is this patch just to fix the hacking problem?

My guess is primarily Security. If he has done anything else thats a bonus, but dont hold your breath on them.
However if we could get a list of Events from him, that would be amazing!

I love the use of words there!
you need more symbolism though, perhaps a logo?
I believe a good symbol will draw enough positive energies that it will result with this patch working.
