ohh look 0/5 for CA but i figure since eol was voted to stay till end of july and it was rotated anyways what does this matter? id say more but why?

EOL has nothing on Combined Arms. Yankee was paid to develop EOL and after several years of work it couldn’t compare to what a few unpaid developers did in a few months.

CA has no business on Infantry servers, its nothing like any other zones. And “a few unpaid developers?” look at the credits moron. Yankee did most of EOL on his own, whereas CA had a TEAM of people. And it wasn’t a few months, CA was up on Free Infantry servers years ago, and it has been updated several times since then to be what it is now. Thats years not months. All CA is is a spamfest, takes 0 skill if you ask me.

CA is fun as hell, But EOL is better. CA takes 1 gun you can spam and get kills, and also has the worst armor system explanation in history. EOL takes skill, and dedication. If you dont play it enough to get good stats and weapons thats your own damn fault, so dont blame it being unfair. And if you dislike being raped then buy a STS and recall everytime you see a shadow.

Both Eol and CA are good zones. CA is alot eaiser to play. But it is nice to play a fast paced zone like ca, its hella fun.
I think alot of CA fans fail to see that, if youve been playing a zone, say CA for 4-5 years. And then all of a sudden Eol classic/beta was rotated in after all that time, ca would be more of less empty.
Thats whats happening with Eol, CA gives most of eol’rs a break from the madness.
Im a hardcore Eolr, since it came out like 5-7 years ago (cant remember date it was released) I still gave CA a 4/5. Show some love!

GC needs to be nerfed somewhat. It has no minumum range, no delay, and can kill anything with full energy/hp in 4-5 shots. Something needs to be changed. There should be a minimum range, or at least a delay the same as or smidge longer than an rpg.

Well the part that annoys me most about gc is the fact that its prox is twice that of an RG. I mean I wouldn’t mind it as much if took more skill to aim this weapon but as it is, its just really easy to hit someone with it.

Change the SG, make the settings PL like. Get a PL item set, then adjust the extra classes to fit. This would make it more skill-based.

CTFX is great, but for one you need to lower damage on shotgun; JT with no armor or field is killed in 2 shots(add delay between shots/less shots wit longer reload or whatever evens the playing field). Tranq and Zap needs to have a reduced stun time or longer load.(speed up scis a little bit they so easy to hit :P)

CA + EOL at same time would kill EOL just like when KQ and EOL up at same time. New zone that takes no skill and is ez to start off in due to a jump start program from mods. get real…
KQ and CA have 2 things in comon. Take no skill, and they both got old… Fast. I have no problem with Skirmish zones though. Skirm will be around forever bc it has good old original unchangeable qualities to it.

Chuck, I didn’t realize you were a complete tool. The original CA was developed by TWO people. They did it in a much shorter time than Yankee could have AND WERE UNPAID. Do you realize how grueling it is to not only spend several hours on a game that isn’t your job, in addition to working another job? It’s fucking ridiculous. Yankee got PAYED to do this shit, which means he didn’t have to do another job at the same time. There’s a TEAM of developers because none of us have time.

The real old EOL rocked, The new one blows ass. CA is the worst zone in the history of this game.
CTFX #1 above all zones ctfx holds the ring for most population when it’s up.
If you ask me I think ctfx should stay perminetly up. Example when tp is up it has a low of 50 population wise. When ctfx is up everyother zone fades and goes to CTFX, why may you ask? Because people enjoy playing it more then any other zone. It’s a mix of EOL and ctf in one with a wise range of teams. More teams more population more people want to play it simple really. People dont have the time nor do they want to spend the time playing EOL for months just to get one stat it’s retarded.
